Determines the amount of the heptane insoluble asphaltene. Applicable for gas oil, diesel fuel, fuel oil, lubricating oil, bitumen, and crude petroleum which has been topped up to an oil temperature of 260 °C.
Comprises condenser, extractor, stoppers, stirrer, funnel and evaporation dish.
A Flask Heater is required and we offer 1, 3 or 6 place models. Suitable quantities of glassware and clamps must be selected according to Heater configuration.
