• 2 ml of sample and a result in less than 2 minutes

Designed for precise and accurate tests, barometric pressure is measured by an internal barometer and correction is automatically applied to the test result. Unknown samples can be tested using ramp mode.

Setaflash Series 3 ActiveCool has a very simple user interface with colour digital display and touch screen icons which guide the operator through a straightforward testing process. For easy record keeping the instrument stores 100,000 test results which can be saved and transferred via a USB port.

The versatile range of Setaflash instruments are ideal for use in the laboratory, production line or for portable test applications.

Rapid Results in just 1 or 2 Minutes
The Setaflash Series 3 ActiveCool is an easy to use instrument that can complete a flash/no flash test in less than two minutes and in many cases in 60 seconds, or determine the flash point of a sample within a temperature range of 0 °C to 135 °C. The sample cup is heated / cooled by peltier cells. This gives very accurate and stable sub-ambient test temperatures and the benefit of rapid temperature normalisation between tests.

Ease of Operation
All functions on the Series 3 ActiveCool including test parameters, instrument status and test results are accessed via the touch screen display and push button. An audible prompt is sounded when a flash is achieved. An automatic flash detector reduces the chance of misinterpretation of the test result by the operator and enhances repeatability.

Innovative Design
Gas for the test jet/shutter assembly is supplied from an integral gas tank, which is filled using a standard butane (lighter) refill cartridge. The Series 3 ActiveCool Flash Point Tester is lightweight and suitable for mobile use when operated from the optional 12 volt power supply adaptor.

Supplied with: 2 ml syringe, ignitor, Allen key, mains lead, quick start guide and instruction manual.
